Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
The WHMIS course is designed to protect the health
and safety of workers by providing information to employers and employees about
the hazardous materials that exist in their workplace.
- WHMIS course was a joint effort between AWSA and OABA (Ontario
Agribusiness Association).
- Cost of the program is $40.00.
- There are six modules covering training requirements, labels
and Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Each module can be printed before the student takes a test
of the module
passing grade is 80%.
- Delivered via the internet.
- Involves no travel time or expenses.
- Course can be accessed and studied at a time most convenient
to the user.
- Course time approximately one hour.

Transportation of Dangerous

TDG Regulations.
This training is legally required by August 15, 2002, following a complete re-write
of the Regulations.
